What's going on inside "Kyuhaku"? Let's go and find-out!(7/9)
A dream world for both children and adults! Make sure to stop by “Ajippa” (1st floor) to have the chance to see, touch and really experience Asian culture!

An abbreviation of "Asia no Harrapa,""Ajippa" is a free interactive exhibition room that gives guests the chance to take in a full sensory experience of the various Asian and European cultures that Japan has been interacting with since ancient times! It is a great opportunity to learn about cultures from different countries and regions by seeing and coming into contact with traditional clothing, instruments and toys from across the world. With all kinds of fun for both children as well as adults, this an ideal place to stop by after visiting one of the main exhibitions in order to get a real feeling of different cultures.

There is also a corner where guests can try playing different musical instruments. It's great fun for children who are visiting with their parents!

Why not try your hand at some traditional games from around the world, such as “Makruk” (a form of chess from Thailand), or “Dhakon” (a type of mancala game from Indonesia)?

The contents of the “Ajigyara” change depending on the time of year and let you experience what it is like to be a museum curator or archeologist.
Measures and provisions are being taken at various locations in an effort to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
