What's going on inside "Kyuhaku"? Let's go and find-out!（8/9）

Pay a visit to the “Museum Shop” (1st floor) and pick up the Kyuhaku merchandise that tickles your fancy or the Fukuoka products that catch your eye!

If you are visiting Kyuhaku, why not also stop by the museum shop? They truly are fully stocked with everything you could ask for, including limited edition original goods that are connected to the special exhibition that is currently being shown, museum merchandise, items from across Asia, as well as products that are unique to Fukuoka Prefecture. The museum shop is in an area of the building that is free to enter, so it's worth taking your time and exploring what they have to offer. For visitors from outside the prefecture, as well as those visiting from abroad, the traditional crafts, such as Hakata-ori, Kokura-ori and Kurume-gasuri are well worth a look!

Traditional Japanese patterns and designs are really popular with tourists visiting from abroad. Souvenirs that seem to go down well with customers include Japanese-made nail clippers and scissors used for cutting thread.

Here is some of the "Haranomushi" merchandise, which have become mascot-like figures for the museum. Visitors seem to be really taken with their "Kimokawaii (cute, but kind of gross)" quality.
