#82 I fully enjoyed Fukuoka!

My latest travel report from my recent long overdue visit to Fukuoka!

Happy new year to you all! Thank you for following and supporting my "Misako Aoki's Travel Diary from the World of Lolita" journey! Hopefully I will get to travel overseas again this year!
This time, I would like to share with you my recent visit to Fukuoka, first time in a long time, in order to make a guest appearance at the pop-up shop of the clothing brand fraisier last December. This was the brand's first pop-up shop in Fukuoka! As you might remember from my previous souvenir article, I really like Fukuoka a lot. I got to do heaps of sightseeing during my free time this time!
1. Christmas Market in Tenjin

I tried both, hot mulled wine and hot chocolate and felt like I had come to a foreign country roaming around beautiful illuminations and glittering Christmas trees.
2. Fukuoka Tower
3. Fukuoka is highly skilled in making various tasty dishes!

- Shin Shin's tonkotsu ramen
This Ramen shop is a must on your to-do list when you come to visit Fukuoka one day. Many people were lined up that day. We had to wait for about 30 minutes, but it was worth it!

- Ganso Hakata Mentaiju's Mentaiju
I had Mentaiju for lunch at the event venue. You even get 2 serves of mentaiko in this dish! Luxurious! I enjoyed comparing both types, the roasted and raw mentaiko.

- Bakery SHIROYA's Sunny Pan (bread)
This bread is a speciality from Kitakyushu. It is a little harder than usual but the combination with lots of condensed milk makes it a delicious treat!

- ICHIFUJI's Motsunabe
This is miso-flavored Motsunabe with a generous serving of vegetables. The thick soup was amazing! I had to buy another set to take home for myself as a souvenir!

- Of course I did not neglect to buy the most famous souvenir as well: the Torimon!
I would like to mention that there are many more gourmet dishes/food to try in Fukuoka besides the dishes I introduced here. Next time I will come here on a private holiday to try several more!

I was touched and excited that people from all over Kyushu and Yamaguchi Prefecture made their way to the fraisier pop-up shop to see us. I truly felt that there are many lolita fashion lovers in Kyushu. Next time, I would love to have a tea party in Fukuoka with you all!
