ab: What are the things that you care about when it comes to the music?

Yoann: When it comes to RPG, music has been very important to me since I was a kid, so I'd say I'm quite particular about it. This time, we've included 2 choir songs ― one bright and one dark, as insert songs.

Matsuyama: The voice can be switched between Japanese and French to match the universe of the game. Thanks to Yoann's connections, the French version of choir song was recorded at a music school in France. Both Japanese and French versions are great so I hope people like them!

ab: Can you give some advice or suggestions to the beginner and veteran gamers?

Matsuyama: In the game, you can choose between safe, normal and dangerous paths. For beginners, it's better to choose the safe ones; those who're confident can go for the harder ones. Keep in mind that dangerous paths are really dangerous! That's how Yoann has made! Also, the mysterious voice on the radio on the giant tank "Taranis" would induce you by saying something like "Everyone will be dead if you keep this going. It's time to use the Soul Cannon." Don't fall into the trap! Be patient and don't use the Soul Cannon!

Yoann: There's an ending which you'll feel glad that you didn't use the Soul Cannon (lol). Though it's an RPG full of dilemmas, it didn't deviate from the original concept of the game, which was intended to depict the hope and despair of the children.

ab: We're very excited about 2 upcoming titles ― "Tokyo Hyakkimon" and "CECILE" which are included in the "Trilogy of Vengenace" as well! Lastly, is there anything you'd like to say to asianbeat readers?

Yoann: We're still working on the 2 titles so just enjoy "Fuga: Melodies of Steel" at the moment! We've put so much love into "Fuga" so I really hope that you all could have fun with it.
