These days in Japan anyone can rent out a kimono or yukata. But did you know that similarly, in Taiwan you can rent Chinese style dresses? About an hour outside of Taipei in Jiufen you can find "CHIPAO." A store that rents out everything from traditional to modern style Chinese dresses, there is usually over 60 ensembles to choose from!

I went to events in Hong Kong, Wuhan and Chongqing! I was in China right in the middle of their holiday period, and with all the events going on, this was the first time that I returned to Japan having stopped by 3 different cities!

August saw major "tea party" events take place in both Guangzhou and Shanghai at amazing top-end locations. Everything from the chandeliers, to the tables and chairs were gorgeous. It was all in keeping with lolita fashion, making for fabulous tea parties!
