Many fans have shed tears when following the emotional story of Kamado Tanjiro, a boy whose family gets slaughtered by demons. This incredibly popular title follows the youngster as he becomes a "demon slayer" in his quest to avenge their deaths. In this exhibit, the front cover of all 23 volumes of the manga create the backdrop for Tanjiro and Nezuko. The incredibly detailed figures are based on illustrations drawn before the start of the series.
◎ Bonds | CHAPTER 1 - Brother, Sister, and Friends -

All the main characters including Tanjiro and Nuzuko are featured in the displays. You'll also spot other individuals from the series, such as "Mizu no Kokyu (Water Breathing)" practitioners and members of the Ubuyashiki clan. Make sure to keep an eye out for Urokodaki's real face, which will be unveiled to fans for the first time!

There are also displays that focus on the six highest ranking demons. The front of the panels examines their descent into madness, while the back looks at their previous incarnations as human beings.

◎ Hashira | CHAPTER 3 - Absolute Breathing -

It doesn't matter how many times you go over the scenes that explain the qualities of the nine main Hashira members... You always end up crying! The three-dimensional installations that help recreate the unique breathing pattern of each Hashira are awesome! They give the exhibition space an interactive quality... They are so impressive!

◎ Connection | CHAPTER 4 - Everything at Stake -

Some of the most compelling aspects of "Kimetsu no Yaiba" are the incredible bonds that exist between the characters. There is a wonderful selection of original illustrations inside the venue that depict the master-disciple, parent-child, and sibling relationships we encounter in the series. I was moved to tears by the famous scene that depicts the interaction between "Kasumi Bashira (Mist Hashira)" Tokito Muichiro and his injured brother Yuichiro. This is the moment when the dying Yuichiro finally reveals what the "Mu" in Muichiro's name really means before passing away. You'll certainly shed a few tears when you encounter this part of the exhibition!

◎ Moment | CHAPTER 5 - Millennial Dawn -

Viewing displays that depict the final showdown between Kisatsutai (the Demon Slayer Corps) and Muzan makes you feel like you have stepped into the scene! The walls are filled with cool graphics and original drawings. The color scheme creates a feeling of anticipation that builds as you start to wonder when the demons will be defeated and the dawn will begin.
◎ Inheritance | EPILOGUE - Transcending Time, For Eternity

Enjoy the conclusion to the story under beautiful wisteria. The final section shines a spotlight on Zenitsu's autobiography. Is the "Zenitsu-den" full of delusions? By seeing the exhibits at the venue, it is sure to fill you with all sorts of different emotions! There will also be a range of illustrations that will be unveiled for the first time in this exhibition!
Many of the original images look like examples of continuous line drawings, the smooth, unbroken lines suggest that they were created without any sense of hesitation or doubt. It is hard to believe that they are hand drawn illustrations! The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to view Gotoge-sensei's creations up close. If you are in the area, be sure to stop by and see them for yourself!
◎ Merchandise area

After seeing the exhibition, head over to the merchandise area to do a bit of shopping! All kinds of awesome goods are on sale, including new products that were released at the Fukuoka venue!
