In nature-rich Itoshima City, we had fun picking strawberries and enjoyed sweets made with Fukuoka's branded strawberries, AMAOU! We stuffed our cheeks full with fresh strawberries that we picked ourselves, while surrounded in a sweet fragrance! A "delicious" experience!

"鮨屋台 海の彩" (Sushi Yatai Umi no Iro) is a sushi restaurant with a great view on the coast of Fukuma, Fukutsu City. When you enter the restaurant and take a seat at the counter, an overwhelming ocean panorama stretches before your eyes! The sushi you eat whilst sitting before this superb view is made primarily using ingredients caught in the Genkai Sea, and so is fresh. You must check out the restaurant original white ponzu!

A brilliant "carpet of flowers"! June is the best time to see marigolds in Nokonoshima! Visitors can enjoy free picking from Saturday 8th!
How about going to Nokonoshima Island to see a "carpet of flowers"? Nokonoshima is about 10-minute ferry ride from Fukuoka City. At Nokonoshima Island Park in the northern part of the island, marigolds heartily welcome visitors in all their glory. The best season to see marigolds is from June to late July!
